About us

A careful selection of raw materials and additives along with the sensitive mixture of ingredients contribute to the secret of success. Mairol stands out with its range of high-quality universal and special-purpose fertilizers - all thanks to David and Hans Maier, who started producing and selling the very first Mairol products in 1920.
Their mineral fertilizer was successfully registered as a trademark in 1914. After the first world war, the manufacturing has been expanded and the product range we know today has been developed.
Today, the company is consolidated by its tradition and experience, being the manufacturer of high-quality products, thanks to its modern technology and mindset.

The products Mairol offers are used domestically for gardens or houseplants, as well as in agriculture and public areas. There are universal fertilizers for every situation and special-purpose ones for e.g. fruits, vegetables and grains.
All fertilizers can be used as foliar fertilizers and are of German origin, with the plant based in Bavaria.
Mairol’s product range allows versatile application, as it offers fertilizers not only in liquid form, but also in crystal form, intended for, quite literally, broader fields of application as they are available in 25 kg bags or even big bags. Along the standard formulations we also provide specific formulations on request.
Moreover, we are glad to underline our partnership with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH from Hamburg – an internationally leading distributor.
